Creative Director Joanna Kulpa was born in rural Poland and moved to Canada at the age of seven. After honing her fashion-design skills in Toronto, Joanna relocated to Vancouver, BC, where she and the company are currently based. With an eye on the environment and the future, Joanna has committed to using 95% natural and/or sustainable fabrics in her collections. Her design philosophy is to create piece that last. "Personal style is essential to me," she explains, "Trends come and go - I'd rather design special pieces that I love and can wear for years - just like your signature perfume, that pair of black stilettos you reach for again and again, and that just-right shade of red lipstick. I want my designs to help the wearer make her own statement."
